Description
Oceans cover over 70% of the earth’s surface area and produce some of humanity’s most important resources. They play a key role in regulating many of the earth’s systems, including climate, and yet they are among the ecosystems most sensitive and vulnerable to global change. Our deep cultural connection with whales and dolphins have given rise to both beneficial and detrimental human interactions with these charismatic species. In this webinar, our speakers will discuss the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems and the need to deepen our connections with the ocean, in order to protect it for our own health and wellbeing, as well as for our fellow animals worldwide.
