Tammie graduated with a BSc. (Hons) and MSc in Equine Science. Her dissertation work contributed to her being joint author on several published equine scientific papers. Her career within animal healthcare, management and communications has led to positions that utilize skills in running successful campaigns, training staff & assisting with business development within the charity, veterinary and animal healthcare sectors. She currently enjoys her role as Commercial Lead of identichip.
Tammie believes that connecting with people face to face is vital but she also thrives on the effectiveness of social media. She was thrilled to be named 'Campaigns Digital Maverick' for creating a unique online platform.
In 2022 she was a member of Cevas Global Working Group on One Health, which focused on the human-animal bond. She is an animal welfare advocate and is proud to be a Trustee for Hereford Riding for the Disabled. She is Co-Founder and proud manager of the National Human-Animal Bond Awareness Day campaign which was created in collaboration with StreetVet in support of those charities, organisations and individuals that promote the human-animal bond.
