Jo Malone is CEO of VetPartners, a veterinary group made up of some of the most respected and trusted small animal, equine, farm and mixed practices and animal healthcare companies, with 11,000 employees working in more than 700 sites across Europe and from its headquarters in York.
Jo qualified as a vet at Glasgow University in 1998 and began her working life at a mixed practice in Market Harborough, before returning to her home city of York to work at Minster Vets, where she became a partner in 2009.
She established VetPartners in October 2015, starting with just with three practices, including Minster Vets, and under her inspirational leadership, it has grown into one of Europe’s leading veterinary and animal healthcare groups.
VetPartners now has practices all over the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland, as well as pet cremation services, an online retailer, a small animal veterinary nursing school, an equine veterinary nursing school, laboratories and a locum agency.
Jo has developed a culture of warmth and belonging at VetPartners, with her passion for caring for animals and our clients, while developing the people she works alongside.
