Georgie is an expert in the field of wound care technologies, their applications and the wider regulatory framework of medical devices specifically used for animal health. Georgie has presented internationally on the subject of wound management and has written over 40 peer reviewed articles and contributed to book chapters across equine and small animal veterinary nursing. Having worked closely with internationally recognised specialists in this time, Georgie actively explores and researches opportunities that may improve wound care in animals. Georgie Hollis has been involved in wound care in the Veterinary sector for over 20 years. Her activities have always focused on helping Vets and Nurses to make the best use of advanced wound care technologies while researching new innovations that may benefit animal health. Well known for her lectures on wound care, day to day Georgie focuses on developing her growing team of “Bandaging Angels” who were created to help practices overcome their wound care and bandaging frustrations.
