Bio

Dave has worked as a vet and advisor in the dairy sector since 2005. Graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005 he moved straight to a dedicated farm animal practice in Sussex. After working for a number of farm animal practices in southern England and a period in industry as a technical manager for a global pharmaceutical company he settled in Shropshire in 2011.  In 2017 he founded Horizon Dairy Vets, a dedicated dairy practice, where he focus’ on large herd management particularly working with a number of grass based herds. He currently splits his time between the practice, consultancy roles and Harper Adams university where he is a senior lecturer.
