Bio

Caroline is a 1989 graduate of the Royal Veterinary College London. She developed her keen interest in internal medicine through experience gained in both mixed and small animal practice, but soon discovered her real passion lay with cats. In 1997 Caroline returned to University to hold the post of Fort Dodge Feline Fellow, working at the Feline Centre at the University of Bristol. Since then she has been working exclusively with cats in both referral and first opinion capacities. She gained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2001, joining forces with Martha Cannon BA VetMB DSAM(fel), RCVS Specialist in feline med. to found the Oxford Cat Clinic in Botley Oxford, providing a first opinion and referral feline internal medicine service for owners and veterinary surgeons within Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. In 2012 Caroline gained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists after passing further exams in the medicine of cats and in 2014 was invited to become a Member of the ISFM Academy of Feline Practitioners. In 2015 Caroline was recognised as an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. Caroline is especially interested in the care of geriatric cats.
