Bio

I qualified in 2002 from Edinburgh and spent 6 years in mixed practice in North Yorkshire. I then worked at the (then) VLA regional laboratory in Thirsk for the next 6 years. In 2014 with help from AHDB I undertook a pilot project to establish a carcase-based post mortem service based at a large fallen stock collection centre in north East England, and have been doing that ever since. During that time I have examined over 8000 carcases, written a few papers and articles and delivered a few presentations mainly based on these findings.
