Bio

Dr. Bergstrom received his DVM from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013 and completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia. Following his internship, he returned to the Midwest where he completed a residency in Comparative Ophthalmology at Purdue University. He received board accreditation in 2017, and has been with VOS since September of that year. Dr. Bergstrom developed a particular interest in horses while at the U of I, but loves the species variability that comes from practicing Comparative Ophthalmology. In his free time, he enjoys running, fishing, and spending time with his friends, family, and pets.
