Bio

Anthony Mackle is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Macahl Animal Health, creators of Oralade® the science-backed hydration brand helping dogs and cats around the world stay healthy and hydrated.

What started as a family vision alongside his father John has grown into a globally distributed veterinary brand available in more than 60 countries. Over the past two decades, Anthony has dedicated his career to improving pet hydration and recovery support, helping introduce one of the first isotonic oral rehydration solutions designed specifically for pets.

From product development and manufacturing to international distribution and brand building, Anthony brings a hands-on perspective to entrepreneurship, innovation and the realities of growing a family-run business in the veterinary and pet care sector. He is also a strong advocate for sustainability and is continually focused on reducing the carbon footprint of both Macahl Animal Health and the Oralade® brand through packaging, production and operational improvements.

Alongside business, Anthony is deeply passionate about animal welfare and regularly supports and sponsors a wide range of charities and organisations, including homeless pet initiatives, wildlife groups, animal rescues and rehabilitation projects.
