What does responsible, risk-based parasiticide use look like in companion animals and horses in practice and how is the wider debate and any available evidence shaping the way ahead? This session will bring together the latest guidance, evidence and industry thinking across companion animal and equine health. It will consider key developments, including the recent House of Lords report and Government response, the VMD’s call for evidence on use of parasiticides in companion animals, the latest Be Spot-On, Be Aware campaign activity, and emerging findings from industry consultations and surveys. Contributions from CANTER will also spotlight practical action to address antiparasitic resistance in horses.
