Layer by layer, this lecture will build on pre-existing knowledge of analgesics until delegates have further understanding of advanced drugs and methods of managing pain. It's about how to go the extra mile for tricky cases and adapt the plan as the patient recovers.

This new session will refresh knowledge of pain and the pain pathway, including the different types of pain, before progressing through basic pain management with opioids and NSAIDs.
