Orthobiologics are increasingly used as an adjunct to rest, rehabilitation and, where indicated, surgery for muscle, tendon and ligament injury in dogs. This lecture reviews the rationale, practical use and current evidence for platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
