Explore the latest work from RUMA CA&E to support responsible antimicrobial use in companion animals. This webinar will briefly examine companion animal antimicrobial use data from the latest Veterinary Antimicrobial Resistance and Sales Surveillance (VARSS) report, looking at current usage levels and assessing progress towards the national targets, including where further progress can be made. The session will also focus on the current and future condition-specific toolkits that have been designed to help veterinary teams turn stewardship principles into everyday action in companion animals in frequently encountered conditions where the prevailing evidence does not support antibiotic use in the majority of cases.
