Description
Pyrexia represents a challenge for the small animal practitioner, especially where signs can be vague and therefore differential diagnoses numerous. Increasingly in human medicine the emphasis of approach to pyrexia is in identifying the underlying cause rather than anti-pyretic therapy. Differential diagnoses can be categorised as infectious, non-infectious inflammatory (including immune-mediated), neoplastic, and miscellaneous disorders. This webinar will discuss approach to the pyrexic dog and cat, with a review of the recent literature and some case examples.
