For the veterinary surgeon being able to carry out an effective clinical examination is paramount. For practitioners working with sheep flocks (large or small) we must consider the ‘hands on’ and ‘hands off’ parts of the examination to garner as much information as possible to support our history before we consider differential diagnoses and further testing.
This session will equip practitioners (young and old!) with a systematic approach to the ovine clinical examination which is as practical as it is evidence based. The last part of this webinar is dedicated to discussing the specific differences (both in terms of approach and expected norms) of ram and neonatal lamb clinical examinations.
