This session will cover the basics of how ultrasound works, probe handling, and image optimisation, before moving on to practical applications such as FAST scanning, patient monitoring, and day-to-day uses in general practice. With a focus on what RVNs can do within their scope, the webinar will highlight how ultrasound supports better patient care, streamlines workflows, and strengthens the vet–nurse partnership in diagnostics.
