During this webinar I will look at why we should consider running classes and what are the benefits to the practice such as client bonding, reliable information and promotion of practice services. The clients will be better informed and understand there options and choices better and the puppies will receive a positive start with guidance from qualified staff. I will consider where the ideal location is for the classes and what we require of the room, what equipment we might need and what the puppies requirements are when it comes to space from other puppies. How you go about setting up a puppy class, what facilities and considerations you might need to consider and whether you need specialised people to run the classes and how many people will be needed for each class. I will discuss the best age for the puppies to start puppy classes and what impact vaccination status has upon the start date, I will look at how we get our clients interested in attending such as staff training, puppy packs and waiting room displays. I will look at class formats and content including what information to include and what training can be included discussing the various options. What are the pitfalls you might encounter during classes ranging form the domineering client to the naughty puppy and how to avoid them and I will look at the costs involved to both the client and the practice and consider is it all worth it.
