Carus Animal Health is committed to researching, identifying, and developing novel and emerging technologies that have application in the animal health sector. Our interests extend to include active programs in point of care diagnostics and alternatives to antibiotics. Carus recently launched GIQuest a novel point of care lateral flow test that measures gastro-intestinal inflammation in dogs and cats. Additionally Carus are developing alternatives to antibiotics utilising bacteriophage to reduce ruminant methane emissions in farm animals, control infection in production animals and aquaculture. We strive to achieve this through partnerships with academia and early-stage companies explicitly founded to exploit new areas of treatment, care, and service solutions.
