Bio

Dr Bellis graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 and completed a small animal rotating internship there in 2008. She worked in London and Southeast England as an Emergency and General Practice Vet before moving to the USA to complete a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at BluePearl Veterinary partners in New York City, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary ECC (DACVECC) in 2015. Dr Bellis worked as a Criticalist in California and New York and served as Residency Director at BluePearl in NYC for many years before becoming Medical Director of an Emergency and Specialty hospital in New Jersey. In 2023 Dr Bellis became the Regional Medical Director for VCA, serving the Mid-Atlantic North (New York and New Jersey). Dr Bellis is passionate about all aspects of patient safety and medical quality.
