Bio

Simona graduated from the University of Milano, Italy with a dissertation on Seizures. After gaining some experience in private practice, she did a Neurology internship at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia, USA. She then moved to the University of Hannover, Germany to complete the residency for the European College of Veterinary Medicine. Simona also completed a PhD at the University of Milano on Neuronal Dysplasia as cause of refractory seizures in small animals. In 2005 Simona was awarded with the Diploma of European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology. The following year she was recognised as RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Neurology. She has been working as Neurology Clinician in the UK since 2006. Simona has a young family and 2 cats.
