Rob is a plural Non-Executive Chair and Digital Director who specialises in scaling technology companies. He’s currently Chair of The Webinar Vet, Europe’s largest provider of online veterinary CPD, while also running his scaling consultancy, Fidem, and engaging in multiple charitable initiatives. Rob also sits on the advisory boards of several international digital companies and is a member of the Institute of Directors’ Expert Advisory Group for Innovation and Technology.
Recently, he stepped down as Chair of Forestreet, an AI-powered market research platform, and MBA-IT, a leading provider of IT solutions to the financial services sector, after successfully help drive both to exit via trade sale. He’s made four successful exits in recent years, bringing his career total to nine.
Before becoming plural, Rob focused on start-ups and turnarounds. Notably, he led the “start-up to exit” journey of the company that designed and built BBC iPlayer, which was sold in 2012. Earlier in his career, he had international board roles at IBM/Lotus and Digital. He holds a first-class honours degree in Electronic Engineering.
