Bio

Noema is a researcher at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia. She graduated from the same home university and obtained her DVM and PhD degrees there.  She conducted her PhD research, focused on intercat play and ways to distinguish it from intercat aggression, in collaboration with University of Lincoln. She is a proud member of International Cat Care´s Feline Wellbeing panel of experts. As part of her mission of connecting the good science with practice, she applies results of her and her colleagues´ cat research within the activities of veterinary students´ Cat Care Club where she acts as a supervisor, and also via the first Slovak podcast about cats she is hosting - ""Mačkast"".
