Níamh got involved with sustainability back in 2023 when she was practicing as a small animal vet in the South Downs in the UK. On her return to Ireland, she found there was little in terms of sustainability support for vets in Ireland. After discussing with some friends and colleagues, she and the team decided to set up the Veterinary Sustainability Network Ireland.
When she is not working on sustainability initiatives or working as a small animal vet in Fermoy, she can be found spending time with her partner and two cats in Cashel. She is also an avid birdwatcher and all-round nature enthusiast.
