Broad clinical and geographic experience with domestic species and wildlife. Trend is toward investigation of infectious and epidemic disease in large populations. The most recent and large scale endeavour has been into vertebral deformity syndromes of farmed  King Salmon.

•UK: Foot and Mouth Disease epidemic (2001)

•USA: Chronic Wasting Disease of deer and elk (2001–06)

•AUST: Infectious diseases of poultry (2007-08)

: Husbandry problems of poultry (2007-08)

•NZ: Diagnostic service support – histology (2008-).

: Aetiology of Wobbly possum disease

: Papillomavirus carriage in the mouths of NZ women, In relation to prevention of cervical cancer and HNSCC

: Immunohistochemistry in relation of enzyme replacement therapy for lysosomal storage diseases. 

: Immunohistochemistry in relation to cancer diagnostics. Companion animal models of human oncology.  Teaching and diagnostic development
