Bio

Màrian graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. After graduating she completed a rotating internship at the same university. She then moved to the UK in Newmarket and did an ophthalmology internship followed by an ECVO approved residency at the Animal Health Trust (AHT). She spend one year as clinician a the AHT before she moved to the Royal Veterinary College in London.

Màrian is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and an RCVS Specialist in Ophthalmology. After completing in 2014 a postgraduate certificate in veterinary education, Màrian became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is focused on corneal and uveitis research. She is also interested in corneal diseases in dogs, cats and horses. 

Màrian is currently leading the Ophthalmology Service at the RVC.
