Bio

Dr. Lauren Pagliughi (Puh-loo-ghee) attended Rutgers University for her bachelors of arts and obtained her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. Upon graduation, she completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ. She then joined Absecon Veterinary Hospital, a seven doctor general practice in NJ. Lauren currently resides in Linwood, NJ serving as a veterinary communications manager for Nestlé Purina Petcare. Spreading passion for advanced nutrition, she supports veterinary teaching hospitals throughout the country and provides technical support for Purina’s sales consultants. She continues to practice as a relief veterinarian in South Jersey and also serves at the veterinarian for the NJAAA mobile spay/neuter clinic. In addition to nutrition, Lauren has a key interest in small animal surgery. Lauren spends all of her free time with her twin boys Zachary and Felix, and her daughter, Greta. Lauren also enjoys running, yoga, surfing, cycling and snowboarding with her husband, Michael. She loves spoiling her two dogs, Bruno and Coda, and her two cats, Cecilia and Daniella. She has a newfound passion for sustainability and helping others to make “green” choices.
