Kevin Cohen is the co-founder and CEO of VetRec, an AI-powered platform transforming clinical and front-desk workflows in veterinary medicine. Originally from Venezuela, Kevin is a software engineer with extensive experience building large-scale data and AI platforms, including more than five years at Microsoft.
Inspired by his love of pets (Kevin has two dogs) and a desire to address the administrative burden facing veterinary teams, he co-founded VetRec in 2023. That same year, the company was selected for Y Combinator’s Summer 2023 cohort.
Today, Kevin leads VetRec’s mission to give veterinary professionals more time to focus on what matters most: caring for their patients. By applying AI across veterinary workflows, VetRec helps teams reduce administrative work, operate more efficiently, and improve the veterinary care experience.
