Kerry Freel

Bio

In 1999, Kerry completed her studies at the Veterinary School of the University of Glasgow. Following five years of general practice, she pursued a residency program in Anatomical Pathology at the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies. During this period, she gained expertise in gross post-mortem, histological and cytological evaluation of tissues from all types of domestic species, wildlife and exotics from the Edinburgh Zoo. Kerry earned her DipRCPath in 2008. Subsequently, she worked for two years in emergency and critical care, earning her General Practitioners Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2009. Since then, she has been working part-time in small animal practice and part-time as a locum pathologist at Glasgow University Veterinary School. Her FRCPath was awarded in October 2010.
