Bio

Kelly qualified as a RVN in early 2001, spending several years in first opinion practice as an assessor, internal verifier, and head nurse. In 2008 Kelly embarked on her teaching career, gaining her teaching diploma in 2010. In 2014 Kelly achieved her BSc (Hons) in veterinary nursing and soon returned to clinical practice as a medicine and oncology nurse at the RVC. Kelly obtained the additional role of clinical educator in 2016 and achieved her PgCert in veterinary education in 2019. In 2023 Kelly became a Teaching Fellow at the RVC centre of veterinary nursing and gained her PgDip in veterinary Education. Kelly is passionate about student veterinary nurse education whilst her clinical passions lie within internal medicine and small animal behaviour - specifically endocrinology, immune mediated disease, and oncology.
