Bio
Dr. Quesenberry is the Chief Medical Officer at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and Service Head of the Avian and Exotic Pet Service, NY. Dr. Quesenberry is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the AMC, a residency in wildlife and zoological medicine at the University of Florida, and a master’s degree in Public Health at Yale. Dr. Quesenberry established the Avian and Exotic Pet Service at AMC and has helped train more than 15 residents and 7 specialty interns. Dr. Quesenberry was the Scientific Editor of the Journal of Avian Medicine and Surgery, published by the Association of Avian Veterinarians, for 24 years. She has edited two books, both published by Elsevier: Avian Medicine and Surgery, and Ferrets, Rabbits, and Rodents: Clinical Medicine and Surgery, which is now in its 4th edition. Dr. Quesenberry serves on the Editorial Board of the Merck Veterinary Manual
