Kate is co-owner and director of Village Vets Formby & Crosby, an independent, family-run, membership-only practice in the North West. She’s known for practical innovation in first opinion practice, including consult-included health plans and being an early adopter of a membership-only model. Kate represents the North West on BVA Council and is a board member of SPVS. She’s also been actively involved in the profession’s response to the CMA investigation into veterinary services, working on themes including transparency, client choice, and ensuring any remedies are workable for independent practices while keeping patient care front and centre. Kate speaks regularly at veterinary events on pricing, leadership, and building positive workplace culture.
