Bio

Jackie Layng MVB ACC is an ICF-accredited Leadership and Executive Coach, and certified EmC practitioner, working with leaders, business owners and teams across veterinary and related industries. With over 20 years’ experience in the veterinary profession, Jackie has worked from GP, to orthopaedic referral surgery, training and mentoring, before progressing to Chief Veterinary Officer for one of Ireland’s fastest growing small animal veterinary groups. During this time, she led L&D, clinical strategy and governance through a period of private equity investment, expansion and organisational change. Now, through 1:1 coaching Jackie supports other leaders navigate new responsibilities with confidence and find fulfilment in their roles. Through coaching and workshops, she works with individuals and teams to build connection, repair conflict and strengthen relationships, creating engaged, high-performing teams and positive workplace cultures. Jackie’s a huge advocate for self leadership and the habits that strengthen mental fitness. She’s passionate about emotional connection within teams, that essential foundation that allows teams to perform at their best. In her personal time she rides motorcycles and sails. She has 2 dogs and a cat, and lives with her partner in Ireland.
