Henriette Booij-Vrieling

Bio

Henriëtte Booij-Vrieling (1974) graduated from the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), Amsterdam in 1998 and has been working as a human dentist ever since. In 2004 she graduated as a veterinarian at the faculty of veterinary medicine (Utrecht University). From 2004-2010 she was involved in clinical veterinary dental work at the university clinic in combination with a PhD project, resulting in her thesis defense in 2010 entitled “Tooth resorption in cats, contribution of vitamin D and inflammation”. In 2018 she became a diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College. Since 2016 Henriëtte is part of the board of the European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS), currently as past-president. Currently, she works both in human dentistry (in a general practice) and veterinary dentistry (a specialist in veterinary dentistry at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Utrecht).
