Hannah's keen interest in animal rescue and welfare began during her time studying for her bachelors degree in bioveterinary science from the University of Lincoln over twelve years ago. She then qualified as an RVN in 2018 whilst working in small animal first opinion practice. During lockdown, Hannah diversified to pursue her passion for veterinary education and now works as a post-16 tutor for The Sheffield College, teaching animal management. She is an avid rodent enthusiast, having developed a particular interest in guinea pigs which inspired her to open a guinea pig rescue (The Potato Patch Guinea Pig Sanctuary) in 2021. Hannah lives in North Lincolnshire with her husband, young son, their two lurchers, two cats and many rescued guinea pigs.
