Bio

Guillaume is a French born veterinarian, who received his Doctor in Veterinary Medicine diploma at the Veterinary School of Toulouse in 1998. He then undertook further Specialist training in Small Animal Surgery (Internship, Residency) and completed a PhD in cardiovascular physiology. HE is a European, American, RCVS recognized specialist in Small Animal Surgery.  He held academic positions both in France and in the USA (2005-2011). Guillaume works at the Bristol Veterinary School (BVS) since 2011, as a soft tissue surgeon, educator and researcher. He holds an academic position of Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Surgery and is a senior clinician in the Soft Tissue Surgery service of LangfordVets Referral Hospital. He is interested in all aspects of Soft Tissue Surgery but has clinical and research interests in cardiothoracic surgery. He is also attracted by several aspects related to reconstructive surgery and regenerative medicine.  He co-heads the BVS Clinical Research group.  Guillaume is a past member of the ECVS examination committee and ACVS research committee and has been recently appointed as the European Associate Editor (Soft Tissue) for Veterinary Surgery.
