Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bologna in 1979. Specialization in Veterinary Law and Legislation from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Milan 1984. PhD in Veterinary Sciences from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padua 2008 (doctoral thesis "uncemented hip prosthesis in dogs"). Graduated attending the Institute of Experimental Surgery of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes, University of Bologna Faculty of Medicine and Surgery 1996, 1997. ECVS (European College of Veterinary Surgeon) examination admitted 2004. Since 1990 instructor and speaker at the ASIF AoVET orthopedic courses held in Italy. Speaker and instructor at numerous other veterinary orthopedics courses held in Scivac in Cremona and in numerous Italian regions. President of the Italian Society of Veterinary Orthopedics SIOVet from 2000 to 2003. Teaching hours at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padua and the University of Milan.
