Bio

Dr. Garnett grew up in northeast Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree. He then attended veterinary school at Ross University. After obtaining his veterinary degree, he completed a rotating internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in NYC and a surgical residency at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio. He then moved to the Washington DC area and worked as the primary surgeon at Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral. In 2019 he made the move to Charleston to join the team at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center where he is currently practicing. Dr. Garnett joined the VetMeasure team in 2020 as a veterinary advisor to assist in the advancement of the MeasureON! Monitor. Dr. Garnett enjoys all aspects of surgery; however, he has a particular interest in surgical oncology, trauma, and fracture management. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, and Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology.
