Bio

Ria graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and soon after moved to Australia to complete a Surgery and Anaesthesia internship at Scone Equine Hospital. Upon returning to the UK, she gained valuable experience as an ambulatory equine veterinarian with Rossdales and Bell Equine. She then pursued an ophthalmology internship at the Animal Health Trust and Dick White Referrals, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Edinburgh. Ria then returned to Australia, where she continues to advance her passion for evidence-based clinical practice. She has previously acted as a member of the Editorial Board for the Equine Veterinary Journal and currently serves as an Academic Editor on the Editorial Board for the Australian Veterinary Journal.
