Phoebe Hartnett is the Senior Scientific and Policy Officer within the RSPCA's Farm Animals Department, dedicated to advancing the welfare of pigs raised on farms. She has a PhD in pig welfare with a focus on gilt and sow well-being. At the RSPCA, she contributes to the development of pig welfare standards, covering on-farm, transport and slaughter standards.
