Bio

Graduated in 2015 and spent several years in ambulatory and referral equine practice in Belgium and then in the UK, becoming a certified Advanced Veterinary Practitioner with a focus on internal medicine. This was followed by a role as veterinary technical advisor for an international pharmaceutical company. With a keen interest in nutrition and its impact on health, welfare and performance, she has been at D&H since 2023, having been appointed Head of Veterinary, Equine Health & Performance in 2025. Aside from her varied role within D&H, Marga has started a PhD looking into the impact of different nutritional and management practices on digestive and metabolic health outcomes of Iberian horses across different countries.
