Dr. Kalman Czeibert

Bio

After graduation, Dr. Kalman Czeibert began his career as a clinical veterinarian at a small animal practice, where in addition to general patient care, he began to specialize in neurological cases. In 2012, he was invited to join the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest, where he taught veterinary anatomy and embryology to first- and second-year students in both Hungarian and English. In 2016, he became a member of the international research team at the Department of Ethology of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), which investigated cognitive aging in dogs using behavioural, genetic, and neuroscientific methods. During this time, he was actively involved in the analysis of fMRI scans, brain imaging research, and the work of the Canine Brain and Tissue Bank. His PhD thesis focused on the multimodal anatomy of the canine brain and its possibilities for 3D modelling. He successfully defended his dissertation in 2020. He currently works at LimesVet Fiftyfive Ltd. as Research and Development Manager. His main responsibilities include creating 3D models based on advanced diagnostic imaging techniques (such as CT and MRI), 3D printing, and the planning and production of custom-designed veterinary devices, including implants and drilling guides.
