Dr. Jamie Laity is a practicing veterinarian and entrepreneur with over 14 years of clinical experience. She is the founder of WanderVet Mobile Veterinary Services, an in-home veterinary practice based in North Carolina, and SmartVet AI, a clinical decision-support tool designed to support veterinarians in interpreting lab work, generating differential diagnoses, and improving client communication. Dr. Laity previously built and led a Fear Free® and AAHA-accredited hospital that grew into a multi-doctor, 7-day-a-week practice with emergency capabilities. The hospital was later recognized as the AAHA Hospital of the Year, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality patient care. Her work is driven by a passion for supporting veterinarians in the real-world challenges of practice—particularly in moments of uncertainty where clinical decision-making is most complex. She brings a practical, relatable perspective to her teaching, focused on helping veterinarians think more clearly, feel more confident, and navigate challenging cases with greater ease.
