Ian has held a variety of senior roles including serving as Head of Medicine at Davies Veterinary Specialists and Global Pharmaceutical Stewardship Lead for Mars Veterinary Health—Ian has been active in the One Health agenda for almost 2 decades, he conceptualised the influential BSAVA "PROTECT" antimicrobial scheme and has spent over a decade a charmain of Mission Rabies and is now a trustee of the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS). An RCVS Fellow and recipient of the BSAVA Melton Award in recognition of his work in Antibiotic stewardship in the Companion animal Sector
