Dr. Brendan Tindall
Bio
Brendan qualified from the University of Pretoria in 1999 having completed a BSc (Hon) degree in zoology followed by a BVSc degree in veterinary science.
Shortly after graduation, he was appointed as a wildlife veterinarian for National Park in Namibia where he was based in Etosha National Park for a few years. Here he gained enormous experience in working with black rhinos as well as supervising routine mass capture operations of wildlife. After returning to South Africa he continued practicing as a wildlife veterinarian in private practice. During his 22 years in practice, he has gained extensive experience in working with a wide range of wildlife species. Brendan has a special interest in research and conservation and is currently working as part of an international team developing techniques in cryopreservation and assisted reproduction of rhinos.
In addition to his wildlife veterinary practice, he also owns a mixed animal practice where he enjoys small animal orthopaedic surgery as well as a routine equine veterinary practice.

Brendan also serves as a councilor on the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) and was recently appointed Vice President of the SAVC.
