Bio

After graduating from the veterinary program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1998 and a short period of time practising in a small animal practice, Diego focused on feline medicine from 1999 to 2016 in Tot Cat, the first cat-only clinic in Spain, and then started a new position in Clinica Felina Barcelona. He’s a member of AVEPA and its feline study group GEMFE where he is a former president and member of the scientific committee. Accredited by AVEPA in Feline Medicine in 2013 and re-accredited in 2018. Diego is also a member of the ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) and the ESVE (European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology) where he was a member of the ALIVE committee focused on Diabetes mellitus. He has made two externships at a private practice in the UK and the Ryan Veterinary Hospital at UPenn in the USA. Author of several papers, a book and lecturer at national and international conferences.
