Bio
Derek holds both the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia, and is an EBVS European and RCVS Recognised Specialist in the subject. He has also gained membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Derek holds a personal Professorship from the University of Glasgow, and was awarded FRCVS for Meritorious Contributions to Clinical Practice in 2017. He currently works at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists in Hampshire as a Consultant Anaesthetist.
