Dr. Delores T. Craig graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Veterinary College in 1983. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA), Certified Veterinary Chinese Herbalist (CVCH), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture (FAAVA). Dr. Craig became interested in acupuncture in 2004, certified in 2006, and has taught acupuncture to her veterinary colleagues with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society since 2008. She served as president of the IVAS organization from 2020 to 2022. In 2021, Dr. Craig retired from private practice. She remains active in Integrative Veterinary Medicine as an International Veterinary Basic Course Instructor and lecturer. She has presented at various venues, including the AVMA, Western Veterinary Conference, Oquendo Center, VMX, Midwest Veterinary Conference, Southwest Veterinary Symposium, International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
