Bio

Deborah Leabeater MSc, CBiol, BETA ENFAR, MRSB is a highly experienced equine nutritionist, having spent over 30 years in the industry, both in the UK and overseas. Deborah has worked closely with Veterinary Surgeons to evaluate feeding programmes, helping to identify nutritional imbalances, and the role that targeted nutritional support can play to help manage clinical conditions affecting health, performance or growth and development.

Deborah has formulated feeds and supplements for companies based all over the world. Her role in the technical team for Equine America involves utilizing the latest research to ensure the current products remain evidence based and up to date, and designing, developing and formulating new products. Deborah also plays a key role in ensuring the products are compliant with current legislation.

Deborah is a Chartered Biologist and accredited as an Equine Nutritionist by BETA ENFAR.
