After taking a second degree in applied animal behaviour, Celia has a masters degree with distinction in clinical animal behaviour. She volunteers for a small cat rescue charity, rehabilitates difficult kittens and is an emergency fosterer. In addition to 45 or so books, she has written widely for newspapers and magazines, appeared on TV and radio. As part of her concern for animals she runs a website, www.celiahaddon.com on Cats, Hamsters, Rabbits and Guinea pigs.
