Catriona is a veterinary surgeon who spent 14 years in clinical practice and the animal health pharmaceutical industry, before connecting all her areas of experience by moving into sustainability. Her work spans all three One Health domains, planetary, animal and human health, and it's the intersection of the three that drives her, professionally and personally. She is Past President of SPVS, and served on its Board for over a decade. She chairs the net-zero working group of the Vet Sustain–led veterinary sustainability roundtable alliance and is a former Vice-Chair and Trustee of the Pets Foundation, and former Chair and Trustee of the SPVS Educational Trust. She holds the CFA ESG Investing certificate and has just completed the Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge (results pending...). In her day job, she is Group Head of Sustainability at IVC Evidensia. At home, she attempts to put the theory into practice alongside her 5-year-old son and their dogs Quinn and Tom, and cat Eddie, with varying degrees of success!
